**Job Description**:

- Assist Senior Management to understand and proactively manage risks across the Group on a Global scale and assist Business Units in jurisdictions such as Singapore, South East Asia, North Asia, South Asia, Australia, Africa and Middle East
- Assist Director (Risk Management) in partnering with Business Heads and Senior Management to formulate risk strategy and risk initiatives in tandem with the firm’s growth plans as well as perform strategic risk analysis to help the firm meet its objectives
- Assist Director (Risk Management) to review new projects and perform due diligence works in identifying key risk issues and opportunities for businesses to improve their performance
- Assist Director (Risk Management) in implementation and maintenance of risk management frameworks and processes that enable more informed, strategic decisions, improve risk management measures as well as increase overall transparency and enhance corporate governance
- Be a strong liaison between Businesses and Technology to ensure that business data related controls are clearly defined, communicated and considered during project / initiatives’ planning and development, steering the Business Units to achieve their goals in a compliance, effective and efficient manner using data and technology
- Perform oversight on all data process governance programs and initiatives to ensure alignment and effective implementation across the Group
- Highlight any potential concerns/risks and proactively shares best risk management practices
- Responsible for developing, managing or validating models and analyses for new strategic initiatives
- Responsible for identifying, assessing, monitoring, controlling and mitigating risks that arise through model development, deployment, management and data provision / quality activities
- Ensure a full understanding of the risk and control environment in area of responsibility
- Conduct quantitative risk assessment to determine impact of issues for risk acceptance decisions
- Conduct training to staff on Risk policies and framework
- Prepare and submit reports to Director (Risk Management) and Senior Management
- Participate in any special projects as directed by Management

**Requirements**:

- Recognised degree in Accountancy/Finance/Business/Economics/Engineering
- 2 to 3 years of related experience in a similar risk management role
- Relevant experience and knowledge in enterprise risk management, internal control and due diligence works
- Experienced model risk professional in building complex financial models, having covered development/validation/maintenance of models or quantitative analysis. Data management and quantitative analytics experience in the context of developing, managing or validating (conceptual, logical, statistical)
- Experience in quantitative risk management (portfolio, credit, market, financial, compliance)
- Experienced in handling large datasets, being a competent user of financial data tools: spreadsheet software, and any of SQL, Hyperion, SAP, or other ERP/forecasting tools
- Ability to translate business requirements / queries into financial analysis and financial projections/models
- Strong in analytical and problem-solving skills, business acumen and strategic thinking, attention to detail and curiosity
- Strong interaction skills, relationship-building and networking skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to influence staff of all levels, possess strong presentation skills
- High level of integrity, takes accountability of work and good attitude over teamwork
