Job Responsibilities:
Permanent Day Shift
- Conduct Handing-over sessions.
- Update Home Guardians on incidences, medical appointments, school matters and signing of any documents.
- Update records books & reports.
- Ensure dorms are cleaned by the residents daily.
- Gather all in-house residents for lunch, tea-break and dinner as these meals are to be taken together. Observe and note residents who do not eat their meals.
- Check all residents’ school bags and pockets upon their return from school.
- Check and organise all residents’ daily homework.
- Oversee and conducting congregational prayers.
- Monitor and manage residents' behaviour during tuition and study sessions. Ensure that all residents are punctual for their tuition sessions.
- Accompany resident(s) to clinic or hospital, when necessary.
- Administer medication to resident(s), when necessary.
- Conduct necessary spot checks.
- Carry out the Physical Body Check on residents who are leaving and coming back from Home Leave.
- Conduct monthly physical checks and fill up physical building forms.
- Conduct cross-home inspections quarterly and fill up physical building forms.
- Carry out fire drill exercises quarterly and ensure both Homes meet all fire safety requirements.
- Perform driving duties, if any.
- Permanent Night Shift
- Conduct Handing-over sessions.
- Update Home Guardians on incidences, medical, school matters and consent forms.
- Update records books & reports.
- Perform hourly round checks from 11:00 pm - 5:00 am
- Monitor and manage residents during tuition and study period sessions.
- Check and organise all residents’ daily homework. Ensure that every resident has completed their homework by checking and signing their School handbook.
- Ensure that all residents’ school bags are packed and their uniforms are ready before they go to bed.
- Ensure that all residents have brushed their teeth and washed up for bed.
- Accompany resident(s) to clinic or hospital, when necessary.
- Administer medication to resident(s), when necessary.
- Check all residents’ daily attire and grooming before they go to school.
- Issue daily pocket money for all residents going to school.
- Conduct necessary spot checks.
- Conduct inventory and stock checks.
- Carry out the Physical Body Check on residents who are leaving and coming back from Home Leave.
- Check the First Aid Box. Dispose of any expired items and replenish finished or missing items.
- Carry out fire drill exercises quarterly and ensure both Homes meet all fire safety requirements.
- Perform driving duties, if any.
