Melody Strings is an established string music academy in Singapore since 2014. We provide Violin, Viola and Cello lessons for children 4-17 years old.
**Job Description**:
- To teach the Cello students.
- To teach the Theory & Aural students.
- Arrange students' lesson timing; Discuss with the parents the student's progress.
- Prepare students for the ABRSM examination, music festivals, and competitions.
- Plan, supervise, and implement the learning program.
- Assist with an in-house luthier.
- Promote string instruments to customers.
- Ensure that operations procedures are completed within specific times.
- Other ad-hoc duties might be required as operational needs.
**Requirements**:
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Music performance
- At least 3 years of experience teaching Cello students and all skill levels
- Knowledge of music theory, repertoire, and performance techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for teaching and inspiring students to reach their full potential
