**Responsibilities**:
The Senior Designer/Draftsman will assist to oversee the work of a drafting team and for producing drawings and sketches consistent with good subsea engineering practice and in compliance with company drawing office procedures.
- Assist in providing focal point for all project communication and activities and ensure the delivery of quality work and services in line with project plans.
- Support in identifying and communicating project resource requirements
- Support to assess project resource requests and provide feedback on feasibility in terms of deliverables and timescales given resources available.
- Participate in technical audits of projects and studies.
- Actively participate in relevant training and development to pursue continuing professional development.
- Participate in reviews and development of departmental procedures and work methods.
- Support in the interface with project discipline leads to ensure CAD deliverable schedule is being met and budget is on track.
- Support in ensuring project team comply with company QA and HSE procedures.
- Support in ensuring that design services comply with company standards and processes in line with appropriate legislation.
- Assist in the development of standard project deliverables and efficiencies.
- Assist in ensuring efficiency and quality by producing drawings and sketches consistent with good subsea engineering practice
- Support in operating within standardised engineering policies, processes and systems
- Gain and maintain familiarity with relevant codes and standards used in the drafting work carried out
- Support in liaising directly with Project Engineers on installation drawings and sketches
- Support and maintain engineering control systems to effectively monitor and improve the level and quality of management reporting, planning and forecasting to ultimately allow effective benchmarking and active forecasting of project costs

**Job Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent
- At least 8 years of experience in design/draftsmans scope of work
- Exposure in engineering drawings for subsea pipelines/subsea cables/structural drawings
- Ability to lead and function within a design team and across multiple projects.
- Ability to prioritise own and others’ workload, manage time accordingly and inform team members where constraints will affect a project in terms of programme or budget.
- Ability to manage interfaces within a project structure, including other disciplines, drawing office, document control, project management, client and suppliers.
- Ability to manage change control within own remit on a project. Inform team members where constraints will affect a project in terms of programme or budget.
- Demonstrable ability to work within time/budget constraints
- Very good knowledge of Microstation or ACAD

**Salary**: Up to $8,000.00 per month
