**_Trader Recruitment _**

As a Trader, you will work closely with the CIO to assist with idea generation, idea development and execute trades in line with the firm’s strategies. Over time, as you develop a deeper understanding of the firm’s processes and demonstrate competency, you will then be given more responsibilities and your own trading book to run as well.

The role may require flexibility in your work hours. Please note that, on occasion, you may be required to work overnight hours between 9:00 PM and 2:00 AM as part of covering the US markets. These instances will be scheduled in advance and communicated.
- Keeping up to date with market news / developments and channel market information flow to the team in a timely manner
- Operate OAC’s proprietary processes to assist with idea generation
- Develop ideas by analyzing financial data, examining company profiles and market data using Bloomberg or online research portals
- Trade discretionary positions across multiple equities markets
- Employ coding skills to maintain or improve upon workflow automation processes at OAC

**Skills and Qualifications Requirement**
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Self-driven and able to work effectively under pressure
- Good at multi-tasking
- Possess strong interest in understanding the global financial markets
- A finance-related degree is preferred but not an absolute requirement
- Strong proficiency in Excel and coding experience will be preferred (VBA / Python)
- Fresh graduates will also be considered for this position
