**Planner, Production**

**Role**:
The Production Planner is a key member of the Manufacturing Operations Team. The main task of the Production Planner is to schedule and control the machine build sequence in both Machine Assembly Production in Malaysia Plant and System Acceptance Operations in Singapore Plant.

This involves working with the Order Management teams both locally and in overseas plants to schedule the machine build sequence to ensure on-time delivery of customer orders. It also involves working with the purchasing team to ensure the material availability required by the build plan.

Apart from this, the Production Planner will also work with the other teams in the Supply Chain to ensure that all Material Master Data are created and maintained correctly in SAP system to ensure the smooth order and transaction flow.

**Responsibilities**:

- Creation and change of Purchase and Production orders to both Singapore and Malaysia plants
- Generate and monitor shortage list for spare parts requirement in customer orders
- Regular video conferencing and communication with counterparts in overseas plants
- Customer order materials fulfilment (machines, options & spares)
- Customer orders conversion and changes adaptation
- Stock Movement Form creation for stock materials transactions
- Inventory control and monitoring to ensure material availability for build plan
- Implement Engineering Changes of materials for production
- Creation and maintenance of Materials Master in SAP system
- Coordinate the Demand
- Planning Requirement with global counterparts

**Education and Language Requirements**:

- Diploma / Degree in Engineering, Business Studies / Administration, Logistics or equivalent
- Proficient in English

**Other Requirements**
- Preferably 3 years of working experience with planning in a Manufacturing environment
- Possess excellent communication skills
- Possess business administration skill and SAP knowledge
- Able to adapt to the change in ramp up/down volume
- Able to conduct weekly meetings on order deliveries and materials planning
- Able to work and communicate with global colleagues and suppliers
- Detail-oriented and diligent
