**What you'll do**
- Lead cross-org projects that are highly impactful to the entire engineering and product org
- Dive into many different areas of the system to diagnose systemic issues (such as architecture, data modeling), suggest comprehensive solutions while considering well-rounded trade-offs
- Present technical proposals to engineering leaders and win their support
- Work closely with cross-team engineers and tech leads to implement large scale projects, including design reviews, code reviews and implementing critical components
- Identify bottlenecks in engineering productivity and implement the improvements
- Design and implement new initiatives to scale up the system performance

**Here's the knowledge that matters the most for this role...**
- Proficiency in Node.js, JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Postgres and SQL performance tuning
- Building high performance systems
- Broad knowledge in AWS (or Azure/GCP/Cloud) services, for example: message queues, CDN, K8S, NoSQL etc
- Experience in shipping and operating large scale backend systems in production

- Have Solid understanding of Frontend - knowing how to design APIs for optimal Frontend
