Assistant Manager, Infrastructure Services

We are looking for a passionate and professional Assistant Manager, Infrastructure Services to join our Infrastructure Operations team.

The incumbent will monitor system functioning and identify operational problems, investigate complaints, and complete troubleshooting procedures. Assess operational objectives, anticipate problems, and develop solutions to minimize impact on total operating system. Ensure operational activities are in compliance with company standards and regulations.

**What You'll Do**
- You will monitor technical services operations to ensure an efficient 24 hours, 7 days a week management Supporting IT systems, enterprise infrastructure solutions and data centre
- You will ensure continued, controlled, secure, robust and high system availability for the IT operating environment
- You will verify service operations against stated Service Level Agreements and Operational Level Agreements
- You will work with strategic partners and suppliers to maintain performance levels and scope of services as defined in established agreements
- You will manage and ensure that operations policies and work standards are properly implemented according to statutory requirements
- You will analyse and investigate complaints and perform troubleshooting to remediate issues and maintain documentation
- You will plan, design and analyse operations to improve work flow, equipment layout, and ensure accident/ breach prevention
- You will attend IT audits, provide explanations and propose corrective/preventive actions to auditors
- You will support the Infrastructure Operations Lead in assessing process cycle times, areas of improvement and help with cost control initiatives

**Who You Are**
- You will need a degree in Computer Science
- You will need minimum 3+ years of experience in IT operations and IT Management tools
- You should have ability to correlate problems with causes, and involve other IT support personnel, as needed, for timely resolution of IT network and systems outages
- You should be a team player with the ability to work effectively across teams within and outside Group IT including multiple third-party vendors
- You should have experience in performing technical support at an enterprise level and across organization levels
- You should have demonstrated ability to document processes and procedures and accurately track and record issues and resolution
- You should have knowledge of operating systems Red Hat, AIX, AMC Storage
