Regional Idp Financial Analyst

Role Purpose
The position is primarily responsible for the reporting and analysis of IDP Asia Pacific’s key business metrics and financial performance across all lines of business, including but not limited to A&H, IPL and P&C for production monitoring, cost/revenue variance analysis, Forecast/ Plan reporting.
This position is also required to assist key regional and global stakeholders on ad-hoc reporting and analysis as well as preparation of presentation materials to senior management and provide business with relevant information/reports to support business decisions.
This position works closely with country IDP teams, Regional product/functional heads, Regional Finance, COG IDP Management and COG Finance.
This role also supports Consumer Lines Finance Team with some monthly reporting requirements.
**Key Responsibilities**:
Financial Management
Manage financial Forecasts and Plan with emphasis on premium revenue and solicitation cost management on Chubb’s financial system within tight deadlines.
Interface with Regional Lines of Business and Finance and country IDP teams with regards to financials commentary.
Design, build, and update financial templates required for business reporting.
Provide support to local business analysts and act as a regional analytics lead.
Prepare and distribute IDP production reports to regional and global heads (all LOBs).
Ensure IDP reports are up-to date and accurate at all time.
Assist local IDP financial aids in preparing monthly and forecast reports for regional IDP.
Enhance IDP sales metrics tools to maximize business efficiency and activity tracking ( visitation, pre-bind metrics).
Support Ad-hoc reporting required by regional and COG IDP Management ( Forecast report).
Prepare presentation materials as required particularly during plan and quarterly and monthly reviews.
Support Consumer Lines finance team with monthly production reports for A&H, IPL and Digital LOBs.
Business Strategies
Product launch business case development and tracking.
Campaign development, approval, tracking and audit.
Assisting with geographic expansion/investment business case development, including market research and financial projections.
IDP Analytics
Use of data, profiling to develop strategies with countries such as - segmentation, cross sell / up sell. opportunities, new agents and recruitment success model, succession planning, agency ready product cycle, etc.
Implement measurements to track success.
Project management
Lead / drive Insights dashboard roll out with COG.
Lead / support Producer Hub /Dynamics rollout.
Strategic development and management
Active engagement with product leaders to proactively identify opportunities for business growth for products, segments, markets.
Support agency strategy development and presentation.
**Qualifications**:
**Experience required**:
3 years of experience in financial reporting, performance management or MIS role.
Experience in financial industry.
Experience in using / knowledge in relational database such as TM1, MS Excel, MS Access, Cognos, Qlikview, PowerBI is preferred.
Attention to detail, Good analytical skills, ability to communicate and articulate clearly financial concepts and drivers to non-finance audience would be preferred.
**Qualifications**:
Degree in Finance/Economics/Business Administration/Statistics/Actuarial.
**Language**: English (Advanced).
