Execuctive Vice President(Risk Management/audit)

Liaise with the Head Office in Japan on a weekly basis and conduct the risk management and (internal) audit of group companies in the Asia-Pacific region as a shareholder (group companies refer to the life insurance and asset management areas).
- Implement the organization's vision and mission in risk management and audit by working closely with various group companies' heads in the second and third line by ensuring each department understands their role and function.
- Lead and supervise risk management and audit team members to ensure consistency and quality of the management and audit practice across the region.
- Develop, manage, and report risk management and internal auditing standards.
- Manage various risks such as financial, investment, legal & compliance, IT, and operation including predictive management of subsidiaries in India, Thailand, Indonesia, Myanmar, and other countries in Asia-Pacific area, and report the relevant issues to the related persons such as the Board of Directors in appropriate timing and manner.
- Grant reasonable guarantees to the Board of Directors on an independent standpoint from business execution and risk management in each country, and report the relevant issues to the related persons such as the Board of Directors in appropriate timing and manner.
- Attend the related committee such as the risk management and audit committee in subsidiaries in India, Thailand, Indonesia, Myanmar, and other countries in Asia-Pacific area.
- At least a Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accountancy, law
- At least 10 years’ experience in the life insurance industry
- No less than 5 years’ experience at management level at a reputable life insurance company
- Business level Japanese literacy and proficiency and the ability communicate and recommend Asia Pacific strategies for new life insurance and asset management markets in native Japanese is required to liaise with the Head Office in Japan
- Excellent proficiency in managing various internal and external stakeholders
- Strong negotiation skills and business acumen
- Proficiency in MS Office
