**Key Responsibilities of a Project Engineer (Electrical Background)**
- Oversee the planning, design, and implementation of electrical systems within projects.
- Ensure the project aligns with local regulations and standards in Singapore (e.g., Building and Construction Authority (BCA) or Singapore Standards)
- Work closely with stakeholders such as clients, contractors, and vendors to ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget.
- Manage communication with various teams, including electrical designers, technical experts, and construction teams.
- Provide technical guidance for electrical installations and systems, ensuring that the design complies with electrical codes and regulations.
- Troubleshoot issues that arise during installation and ensure the quality of work aligns with industry standards.
- Develop and monitor the project budget and ensure resources are allocated efficiently.
- Track project progress and report on milestones, including electrical system installation, commissioning, and testing.
- Ensure that safety protocols are followed throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with Singapore’s Workplace Safety and Health Act, and other electrical safety regulations.
- Identify potential risks related to electrical installations and take steps to mitigate them.
- Manage risk assessments and propose solutions in case of delays or complications.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**
- A degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in project engineering, with a focus on electrical systems.
- Experience working in Singapore is highly beneficial due to familiarity with local regulations, standards, and suppliers.
- Proficiency with electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, Revit).
- In-depth knowledge of electrical engineering principles, power distribution, control systems, and renewable energy solutions (if relevant).
- Registered as a Professional Engineer (PE) in Singapore (or working towards it).
- Any relevant certifications in project management (e.g., PMP) or safety (e.g., WSH certification).
- Strong ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
- Fluency in English (and possibly other languages) to liaise with international clients and local stakeholders.

Pay: $2,500.00 - $3,000.00 per month
