The Data Analytics Engineering Manager is responsible for enhancing self-service business intelligence throughout the organization through effective management of the enterprise data warehouse (presto, data warehouse, data lake) and business intelligence software (metabase, redash)

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with business users and data analysts to understand user requirements
Develop and automate large scale, high-performance data warehouse pipelines
- Monitor the usage of the data warehouse and optimize performance and cost through data modeling best practices
- Maintain data warehouse documentation (data catalog) in collaboration with data analysts and data engineers
- Implement data quality monitoring tools
- Contribute to data warehousing processes and standards to improve the productivity and quality of output for the data team
- Provide leadership and technical guidance to data analytics engineers
- Structure and manage workflows within the team and between the team and other stakeholders (data analysts, data scientists, data engineering)
- Provide effective user administration, documentation, training materials and end user support
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of latest tools and technologies
- Evaluate new tools and technologies for BI users

**Requirements**:

- Minimally a Bachelor's Degree in relevant fields (i.e. Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or Statistics) with at least 5 years of experience in designing, building and operating data warehouses
- At least 2 years of experience in managing a team
- Proficiency in data modelling, SQL and Python
- Experience in using Spark, Presto, Hive, bash, Linux, Git, GCP, Airflow, REST API etc. will be an added advantage
