Handbag & Accessory Designer

**Responsibilities**
- Design and develop sophisticated and up-to-date season collections
- Seasonally research and identify key market trends, styles and colors
- Work closely with relevant departments (factories, suppliers, merchandisers etc.) for the development of new design collections
- Constantly source for new materials and accessories to be used for current and future product development
- Develop and prepare presentations on design concepts
- Follow-through all designs from conceptualization to design to finished product
- Actively participate in all prototype reviews and fittings during sampling stage

**Requirements**:

- Diploma or Degree in fashion design or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of experience in related field and experience with product development, technical design, and production quality approvals
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Have a strong design sense, creative skills and have excellent abilities in drawing
- A creative eye and a flair for fashion and trends
- A self-starter, able to juggle multiple projects simultaneously with attention to deadlines and benchmarks
- Proficiency in Mandarin to work with counterparts in China
- Light travelling to China will be required

**Salary**: $3,000.00 - $3,800.00 per month
