Key Responsibilities:

- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in vehicles and heavy/site machinery.
- Perform routine servicing and maintenance as per manufacturer guidelines.
- Carry out mechanical repairs, part replacements, and overhauls on-site and in the workshop.
- Conduct inspections to identify wear and tear, safety issues, or compliance failures.
- Maintain service records and ensure accurate documentation of all repairs and inspections.
- Respond to breakdowns promptly and efficiently, minimizing operational disruption.
- Ensure all work is completed to high standards and in line with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other team members and report major issues to supervisors or managers.
- Manage tools, equipment, and spare parts inventory responsibly.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a mechanic/technician working with vehicles and/or plant/site machinery.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems.
- Relevant trade qualification or certification (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent).
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagnostic tools.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergency breakdowns when required.
