**About the Bus Driver role**:

**Bus Driver Summary**:
A Bus Driver is responsible for safely operating a bus or other passenger vehicle to transport passengers. This job requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, and a clean driving record. Additionally, they must be able to understand and follow safety regulations and be able to interact with passengers courteously and professionally. Responsibilities include collecting fares, making sure passengers adhere to safety regulations, and providing assistance as needed. They must also be able to inspect the bus before each trip to make sure it is in proper working order and perform basic maintenance when necessary. Bus Drivers must be able to operate the vehicle safely and efficiently and be able to handle difficult situations such as traffic delays or passengers with special needs.
