**Roles & Responsibilities**

1. Role Description:
The trainee in the position of this job hire, supervise, coach and evaluate couriers. They are responsible for ensuring that all deliveries are made on time, assigning routes or jobs to individual couriers and operating within the constraints of a budget. They must have experience working as a courier or delivery driver or have previous supervisory experience.

Specific Responsibilities:
1. Trainee would be able to communicate with customers regarding delays or any issues along a route and respectfully interact with customers at all times. Trainee would be able to assist the customers in loading and unloading of the products if required to and be able to serve as a primary point of contact when there are client related issues. Trainee would also have to establish and maintain credible, professional relationships with clients, internal business lines, and external vendors.
2. Trainee should be extremely diligent and cautious to comply with Road and Pedestrian Safety while carrying out the Deliveries and be extra attentive to traffic and weather conditions, ensuring their own and any passengers' safety. Trainee to be able to prepare annual budget reports and forecasting. Trainee is to be able to improve operational management systems and implement processes and best practices. Trainee is to contribute operations information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews.
3. Trainee will assist the director in raising and tracking of issues and conflicts and remove barriers, have a thorough understanding of financial and budgeting processes and principles so he/she can assess the company’s earnings and spending to assist in finding areas for improvement. Trainee would have to assist in picking and packing of all products to prepare for loading into the vehicle, in preparation for the next scheduled delivery. This will help maximise efficiency in the departure of goods to its destination.
4. Trainee would have to ensure basic tidiness and cleanliness of storage area in the storage room. This is to keep occupational hazards at bay and having a clean, germ free working environment will eliminate any possibility of contamination of the products.
5. Trainee would be able to adjust travel routes to avoid traffic congestion or road construction while obeying traffic laws and regulations, to ensure that the trip stays on schedule. Trainee should also carry out each and every order in a timely manner and to monitor/report fuel consumption, mileage, and passenger numbers. Trainee would be able to do reporting if there's any accidents, injuries, and vehicle damage to management.

3.Good decision-making skills and gain experience in basic financial and budgeting. Loading and unloading of goods

4.General Housekeeping of the warehouse

5.Ability to carry out assigned route on time, and timely delivery of all orders. Checks and close monitoring of delivery vehicle

4. Duration of Traineeships: 6 months

5. Approved Training Allowance: Fresh Graduates - $2,500, Non-mature Mid-career Individuals - $2,900, Mature Mid-Career Individuals - $3,700
