Process Engineer

**Role and Responsibilities**:
- Carry out work as part of a Project Team, in feasibility and HAZOP study, process design, equipment/data sheet specification, sourcing of material, evaluation, preparation of regulatory submission documentation, contractor/vendor management, testing and commissioning.
- Carryout above work to company process design standards, and documentation standards; review and update standards periodically, and as needed.
- Initiate and define process studies, including objectives, format of process data collection, and analysis methodology. Objectives may include seeking improvement in plant yield, cost reduction, improvement in safety or environment protection, compliance to ISO commitments and regulatory changes. Coordinate and supervise the collection effort, analyse the collected process data. Identify critical parameters for Statistical Process Analysis.
- Carry out energy saving projects.
- Preparing logic sequence for new plant modification projects. Work with control system engineer to implement the sequences.
- Prepare, conduct, brief the New Staff on Process during In plant Orientation Training
- The process work will encompass both the Sakra plant and the Samulun Logistic Base.
- Initiate the Management of change for all process plant modifications works. Up keep PID and process documents
- Assist in preparation of Budgets for Project purposes and the tracking of expenditure as well as performance measurements.
- Learn technical aspects from other engineering discipline such as Instrumentation and Controls to facilitate better cross-functional work.
- Other duties assigned by Management.
**Requirements**:
**Qualification/Experience:
- **
- Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent
- Preferably 1 - 2years’ experience in Manufacturing Chemical Plant production environment and work processes
- 1 - 2 years’ in cross functional team
- Team player, effective communication skills
- Creative and takes initiative
- Keen to learn
- 5 days week (8.15am - 5.15pm)
