**Role Technology Consultant**

**Reports to Technology Practice Lead**

**Overview**

Technology is driving how we learn, live and play. The Pandemic changed the way we work irrevocably.

We are seeking an individual to join our Technology practice and be at the vanguard of technology design in construction projects.

The types of Technology are defined in the Systems Knowledge section. You are expected to specialise in one area with a broad appreciation of the others.

**Responsibilities**

PTS is responsible for providing professional services to our clients throughout strategy, design, procurement, and implementation stages of projects. The Consultant will be responsible for:

- Capturing client requirements and designing the technology and tender documentation package for procurement via professional reports, technical specifications, schematic designs, and bill of materials for tender
- Evaluating tender responses and vendor management
- Presenting to technical, non-technical and CX-level clients
- Managing projects to ensure time, quality, and cost performance
- Assisting on proposals, sales presentations, marketing, and business development opportunities
- Develop partner & consortium relationships

**Experience and Certifications**

Applicants must be able to demonstrate the following:

- Demonstrate an expert knowledge of multimedia audio visual design
- Demonstrable built-environment project experience (at least 4 years)
- Experience in a consulting environment a plus
- CTS certification advantageous
- PTS is a fully-cloud-based workplace

**Systems Knowledge**

Applicants will demonstrate a basic understanding in the following areas and a specialisation in the areas in **bold**:

- **AV and Multimedia Design**
- Acoustic Design
- Data Networking; Wired and Wireless
- Unified Communications and Collaboration
- End User Compute technologies

The following additional technology understanding would be advantageous:

- Cyber Security
- AI, data analytics, data algorithms and machine learning
- Augmented, Mixed and Virtual Reality

**Characteristics & Skills**
- A self-motivated individual that can work both in isolation and in a team as necessary with effective time management
- Excellent communication in English to engage effectively with PTS, partners and clients - you will be presenting any topic of your choice as part of our interview process
- Asserts ownership to ensure completion of tasks to timelines
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Show initiative and willingness to learn
- Able to communicate complex issues simply and within the business context, either verbal or written - excellent written English a must
- Can develop and present ideas from ground level up to ‘CX’ level clients
- Unafraid to attempt new work outside of their normal ‘comfort-zone’
