**Roles & Responsibilities**

Employment Term: 2 year Contract

Work location: Tuas South Waste Incineration Plant

Ensure safe, smooth and uninterruptable operation of Waste Incineration Plant.

Plant Operation
- Support plant goals and objectives to achieve overall site KPI’s.
- Comply safety guidelines, SOP, policies and standards.
- Intergrade safety to all part of work and provide safety suggestions and improvements.
- Timely inform all unsafe activities, environmental release etc.
- Support shift activities includes but not limited to operation, frontline maintenance, plant start-up & shutdown and any other ad-hoc and urgent calls.
- Monitor and Operate Incinerators, boilers, turbine/generators and auxiliary systems includes but not limited to feed water treatment plant (Demin), compressed air system, fuel oil system, NH3 System, potable, rain and waste water systems etc.
- Perform shift logging and ensure equipment’s are operating within safe operating limits.
- Inform plant safety and other abnormal events timely.
- Involve in equipment/system isolation & normalization as part of plant activities.
- Respond to CCR alarms and perform frontline troubleshooting. Unresolved items raise maintenance notifications.
- Perform water sampling and ensure chemical injection system functionality as intended.
- Receive operation related chemicals, Lime, Fuel oil, Ammonia etc.
- To assist operation & maintenance engineer in fulfilling their responsibilities.
- Carry out plant improvement activities.
- Maintain proper housekeeping as well as tidiness of work areas.
- To carry out any other duties as assigned by O&M Team.
- Oversee and handle maintenance activities as assigned during overhaul.
- Oversee and supervise external contractors

Plant Optimization
- Identify safety improvement and implement energy & water saving initiatives.
- Assist maintenance team during maintenance.
- Monitor and keep track of utilities consumptions and generate reports as and when required
- Involve in Facilitate project works as well as plant improvement activities.
- Suggest and execute plant improvements initiatives.

**Requirements**:

- NITEC or Diploma (Major: Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial)
- Fresh NTC-3 or NTC-2 Graduates.
- ERT & First Aid trained.
- Confined space trained.
- Working at height trained.
