The **BIM Specialist **is responsible for creating and managing digital models of buildings or structures. They use specialized software to create 3D models that incorporate all relevant information about a project, including architectural designs, structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

A summary of the responsibilities of this position are, and not limited to, as follows:

- Configure and develop Clash Detection analysis on a regular basis (generation of aggregate models)
- Leads regular BIM coordination meetings and track progress of the BIM coordination process
- Responsible for the integration and the geolocation of the models per segment.
- Responsible for checking that drawings are extracted from the models.
- Supports Interface Coordinators and Design Coordinators
- Define the CAD Manual at the start of the project
- Attend the technical meeting/VDR meeting with the Consultants and the Employer representatives
- Adherence to safety practices in the work place

**Qualifications and Education Requirements**
- Education: Minimum Diploma in Architecture, engineering, Construction Information Technology or equivalent
- Proficienct in BIM software such as Revit, AutoCAD, or ArchiCAD
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations
- Experience in project management and collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
