Senior Network Engineer

**Responsibilities**:
- Lead and mentor teams in creating effective design solutions, ensuring collaboration and alignment among peers when necessary.
- Partner with software engineering teams to create and implement deployment strategies utilizing automated CI/CD pipelines.
- Work closely with technical experts and stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical challenges.
- Enhance network product reliability by focusing on key non-functional requirements such as performance, scalability, logging, monitoring, observability, and resiliency.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to automate manual processes, reduce operational overhead, and modernize systems.
- Work within a SCRUM framework, contributing to team goals through efficient collaboration and Agile practices.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering or a related role.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly in team environments.
- Strong experience with observability tools for monitoring, telemetry collection, and service level alerting, including Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, Splunk, and Dynatrace.
- Familiarity with common networking technologies and troubleshooting practices.
- Proficient in using automation technologies like Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, and building APIs/services with REST and SOAP.
