**Position Overview**:
We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented **Quality and Validation Engineer**to join our Singapore team in a dual-capacity role, bridging quality assurance and product validation. You will play a key role in ensuring the reliability and excellence of Wygwam's smart home and building solutions in collaboration with our partners across Asia.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Quality Assurance & Supplier Coordination**
- Act as the main liaison with ODM/OEM/JDM suppliers and vendors throughout Asia, ensuring consistent product quality and alignment with Wygwam’s standards.
- Conduct supplier audits and assess manufacturing and development processes for efficiency, quality, and compliance.
- Drive root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for supplier-related issues.
- Define and monitor legal design specifications to ensure product compliance with international certifications such as CE, in cooperation with regulatory and inspection authorities.

**Product Validation & Testing**
- Lead validation efforts for both hardware and embedded software from product concept to mass production.
- Create and execute detailed test plans and test cases—manual and automated—to ensure functional integrity and reliability.
- Translate technical documentation and testing requirements between English and Mandarin.
- Evaluate supplier test reports and provide clear feedback and follow-up recommendations.
- Design and produce test equipment for in-house functional testing and approvals.
- Track and resolve software and hardware issues using appropriate bug tracking tools.
- Stay informed about evolving tools, standards, and methods in test automation and validation.

**Cross-Functional Collaboration**
- Work closely with internal departments including R&D, Supply Chain, and Quality to integrate quality and testing protocols into design and production workflows.

**Qualifications**
- Degree or Master’s in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, or Software Engineering.
- 1-3 years of experience in product qualification, validation, and supplier management.

**Skills & Competencies**
- This role requires fluency in English and Mandarin to effectively communicate with our suppliers in China and across multiple regions.
- Practical experience with wireless technologies; knowledge of Zigbee 3.0 is advantageous.
- Proficient in C/C++ and object-oriented design principles; understanding of real-time operating systems (RTOS).
- Hands-on experience in Python or similar scripting languages for automation.
- Proficiency in using test automation frameworks and tools.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills across hardware and software domains.
- Independent, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Open to regular travel across Asia-Pacific countries.
