Intern - Manufacturing Equipment Engineering

Responsibilities:
- Under supervision of an experienced equipment engineer, support & implementation of new hardware design into production.- Design and develop automated test equipment and bench test solutions (hardware) for product characterization, qualification and production of highly integrated ICs.- Data collection and analyze the outcome of new hardware design concept, discussion with team members on improvement technique.- Investigate root cause of equipment / hardware design failures.- Assist on technical / analysis report- Other duties as required.
Skills You Will Need
Education background:
- Mechanical Engineering / Mechatronic Engineering
**Required Skills**:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Words, Excel, Power Point- Able to use SolidWorks to perform 3D design for equipment parts / fixtures- Able to read & understand mechanical drawings- Knowledges of handling simple lab instruments e.g. multimeter, Ac/Dc power supply- Basic understanding of semiconductor / ESD (Electrostatic Discharge)- Experience of setup/handling automation equipment will be added advantages
