**Key Responsibilities**:

- Support the Head of the Centre to promote services of Rapid Product Innovation and Development (RaPID) Centre
- Identify new business opportunities - including new growth areas, trends, customers and partnerships
- Generate leads for prospective customers, foster and develop relationships with customers/clients/industry partners/ associations/ government agencies to secure innovative projects and collaborations
- Understand the needs of customers and be able to respond effectively on how to meet their needs
- Responsible for organising marketing activities, events and seminars where appropriate to create awareness of RaPID
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless facilitation between SIT working teams and industry partners
- Provide operational and coordination support relating to the industry collaborations, e.g. negotiating and closing of project agreements
- Monitor and track KPIs and financial budget for RaPID
- Any other work as assigned by Head of Centre

**Job Requirements**:

- Minimally a University Degree
- Minimum 5 to 8 years of working experience in business development, managing research collaborations and handling legal agreements
- Knowledge of Product Development will be an added advantage
- Familiarity with the local SME environment and various government funding schemes will be preferred
- Ability to manage multiple clients / projects at the same time. Enjoy working closely with industry, academic staff and students in an educational environment
- Great stakeholder management skills and a team player
- Possess strong analytical skills with an eye-for-details
- Have good persuasive writing and communication skills, negotiation and interpersonal skills
