Singapore United Language Centre PTE LTD Full time

**You will be doing**:

- Planning, preparing, and delivering high-quality English language teaching lessons.
- Assigning and correcting homework.
- Grading students’ assessments at the end of the term.
- Creating a supportive and positive classroom environment.
- Keeping track of student progress & attendance.
- Collaborating with educational staff to provide a positive learning experience for students.
- Cover classes during your available working hour.

**You are required to have**:

- Knowledge of various methods of teaching ESL or English to non-native speakers.
- Full proficiency from levels A1-C2 (Beginner-Advanced).
- MUST have at least one (1) year of ESL Teaching experience for ADULT Learners.
- Experience in teaching:

- a) General English
- b) Business English
- Studied either:

- a) Cambridge CELTA
- b) Trinity Cert TESOL
- c) Equivalent recognized entry-level qualification to teach English as a Foreign/Second Language.

**It will be beneficial if you have**:

- Experience & proficiency in teaching kids/teenagers (age 8-17).
- Experience in IELTS preparation.
- Experience in group classes and Private Lessons.
- Proficient in Online Lessons (Zoom).
- Worked with Interactive Whiteboards (IWB).

**We are looking for someone who**:

- Has great organizational and communication skills.
- Has a calm and resilient personality, and is friendly and enthusiastic.
- Is able to handle a dynamic classroom.
- Highly motivated and passionate about teaching.
- Is flexible and easy to adapt to changes.

**Working duration/rates**:

- Contract duration:

- Join date to 31st December (Renewable).
- Teaching hours:

- a) Most classes are from Mon to Fri, morning to evening (9:30am - 5pm).
- b) Potentially some night lessons (7pm - 9pm) and Saturdays (8:30am - 4pm).
- Rates:

- Hourly based.
- It may differ depending on the lesson timing. (Weekdays/Weekends/Nights)

COVID-19 considerations:
All customers are supposed to wear masks if they are not having any drinks in class. Classes are sanitized before the opening of the school and to be wiped after class.
