Our client is a well-established brand in the banking and financial industry and they are looking for a
**Solution Architect, AVP **to join their team in Singapore.

**Responsibilities**:
- Steers the solution design and is actively involved in the entire agile/project lifecycle from through requirements gathering, design, reviews, and execution.
- Communicate the architecture standards, principles, patterns, guidelines as well as best practices. Ensure the conformance of enterprise architecture frameworks within the bank, where necessary.
- Ensure architecture governance conformance with solution reviews of proposed solutions, uphold existing standards and processes, and suggest improvements where necessary.
- Evaluate new technologies/solutions, Request for Proposals (RFPs) with proof of concepts, to identify and onboard relevant suitable tools beneficial to the bank.
- Participate in the definition and implementation of the appropriate enterprise architectural frameworks within which the bank can operate and develop IT capability to ensure maximum return on investment and consistency with business strategic directions.
**Qualifications/Requirements**:
- Degree in an IT-related discipline with 10-12 years of IT experience including over 5-7 years of experience in a similar enterprise architecture or solution architecture role, with an excellent track record of delivery. Private banking domain knowledge is preferred.
- Excellent written communication and strong people management skills, with experience in leading international teams.
- Systems engineering background in a complex environment.
- Awareness of all technical disciplines within the Solutions Development arena to the level of being able to effectively challenge proposed technical solutions and project timelines.
- Able to identify opportunities for business re-engineering and leading rapid improvement events to drive down business transaction times and improve business processes.
- Preferably TOGAF, ITIL Certified or skilled IT Professional with international experience with a broad background.
