**Responsibilities**:
You will report to the Vice Principal (Student Development) and your duties will include:
- Implement a school-wide holistic and integrated counselling programme
- Provide a comprehensive, developmental and systematic school counselling programme in the area of school guidance curriculum, individual and small group counselling and crisis intervention
- Provide counselling, including academic counselling to students
- Provide counselling support to the school via responsive services, development programmes and in consultation and collaboration with the School’s Management System
- Prepare case documentations
- Submit monthly report on work done and objectives achieved during the counselling sessions
- Submit progress reports on individual and counselling sessions
- Establish network with other professional agencies to ease referral and provide access to specialist consultants
- Conduct training for staff and parents/guardians in counselling-related issues
- Work with relevant stakeholders to plan and promote school-wide programmes in developing career guidance and school-wide guidance programmes based on counselling and observed trends
- Involve in the administration of student services and organise relevant activities and events
- Liaise with recommended Guardians and Accommodation Providers to ensure the well-being of students
- Conduct selected lessons (e.g. Pastoral Care, Health Education, Mental Health etc.) where appropriate
**Job Requirements**
- At least 3 years of relevant counselling experience in a school setting
- Able to communicate with Chinese-speaking students
- Meticulous and well-organised
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
