TikTok's SMB team aims to help businesses and brands of all sizes unleash their creative side, connect with our audience, or perhaps be discovered From designing scaled sales and service delivery programs to ensuring our customers have best-in-class tools and products at their fingertips, our SMB team combines operational expertise with a customer-centric mindset to help businesses achieve their marketing goals on TikTok, no matter how big or small.
**Responsibilities**:
1. Drive SMB channel growth for TikTok by providing solutions to help businesses tie their organic and paid media strategies together.
2. Work in partnership with the SMB Sales and Account Management teams to identify a pipeline of high potential businesses for advertiser activation and revenue growth.
3. Develop and test a variety of services, including messaging and program opportunities, to understand the effectiveness in addressing business needs and to identify what programs to scale to drive ROI across the SMB business account ecosystem.
4. Drive strategies within the team related to product adoption and educating businesses in a scalable fashion.
5. Ensure that businesses receive the highest level of sales and operational customer service.
6. Establish and manage a structure that empowers ongoing, sustainable growth, including partnering strategically with our other internal SMB functions to create the ideal customer experience.
7. Manage, mentor and develop high performing teams and managers.
**Minimum qualifications**:
1. 10+ years experience in online marketing, sales, and product solutions for small business, and 5+ years experience directly managing teams and managers.
2. Experience working with small businesses and developing strategies to scale services and support.
3. Data driven, capable of in-depth data interpretation.
4. Leadership experience engaging and influencing at an executive level with cross-functional groups.
5. Proven track record of building, developing and leading high performing teams.
6. Excellent communicator and comfortable managing multiple tasks.
7. Strong executive presence and ability to remain calm under pressure.
**Preferred qualifications**:
8. Expert knowledge of social media, mobile apps, and digital and mobile marketing.
9. Knowledge of the self-serve platform, auction, and biddable form of digital advertising buying.
10. Understanding and interest in brand content.
11. Experience leading sales or service teams within the SMB space.
12. Passion for TikTok marketing, and up for the challenge of building something from the bottom up.
