**Requirements**:
This position reports to the Senior Legal Counsel, APAC and works with sales, sales operations, finance, professional services, HR, and customer support employees across the region. **Specific Responsibilities**:
Individual to be involved in:

- Drafting/reviewing contracts to support the entire sales cycle of a software company, including but not limited to NDAs, quotations, software license agreements, professional services contracts, reseller agreements, RFPs etc.
- Attending contract negotiations, creating briefing notes, and supporting the legal team in meeting preparations relating to the same
- Maintaining regional and global contract database and project trackers
- Creating, maintaining and updating regional and global contract templates and training materials, as required
- Providing updated templates to business units, as requested
- Providing support to HR department on employment matters from time to time
- Assisting legal team with handling potential disputes and liaising with external counsel from time to time
- Support the work of the global legal department in projects, as required
- Researching commercial developments, data privacy / IP issues and general points of law, as required
- Ad hoc duties pertaining to legal matters, as required

**Technical Skills/Competencies**
- Strong academic background
- Strong grasp in contract / commercial law, knowledge in data privacy and IP law a plus
- Strong written and oral communicator (in English, Mandarin/Japanese language skills a plus)
- Initiative and enthusiasm in taking on, driving and completing projects, big and small

**Monthly Allowance**: SGD 2,500

**Attachment Duration**: 6 months
