Singapore GEEK CULTURE LLP Full time

**Geek Culture **is hiring driven and creative folks to join the editorial team. You will get to work on all things geeky in Singapore (and the world) ranging from tv, movies, toys, tech, and video games.**

**Responsibilities of the role**:

- Create a compelling creative vision and pitch creative video concepts for Geek Culture’s visual content verticals
- Ensure that all phases of the production are on track, such as video concept and storyboarding, art direction, audio design, and video editing
- Collaborate closely with team members in the ideation & creative development of content
- Provide direction and suggestions for visual overlays, and edits while keeping in line with the house style
- Demonstrates an understanding of trends, consumer behavior(s) and competitive landscape
- Ability to identify gaps and recommend improvements in the social content creation process and work as a key integrator across teams to make change happen
- Experienced and consume social media with knowledge of social media trends across major platforms (Facebook, Instagram and TikTok) and deliver best in class content aligning with social media strategy, rules, moderation, content paid media, and consumer engagement
- Strong understanding of social editing skills, especially short-form vertical video

You will spend time between 25% scriptwriting, 25% shooting, 50% editing.

**Qualifications & Work Experience**:

- 2-3+ years of practical experience in content production, digital, media or any related content area (agency/production house experience is a plus)
- Familiar and know your way around a camera for both video, photo, and audio
- Strong interest in creating content for the Internet and understanding audiences
- Experience in creating videos catered to social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube)
- Experience using the latest version of Adobe Creative Suite and NLE platforms, particularly Premiere Pro, After Effects and Capcut
- Detail oriented and solution driven with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced creative environment.
- Possess a positive disposition, independent, resourceful, and a team player
