**A - Qualification**:
Educational Level : Degree or Diploma in Logistics or related

Work Experience : Min 10 yrs experience in Logistics environment

Skills/Abilities : Good communication skills, Strong Negotiation Skills, strong knowledge of logistics activities

Personal Attributes : Meticulous, systematic and highly self
- motivated

Besides what is defined in the JD below, the following will be an added advantage for this position

a. Knowledgeable in SAP inventory processes.

b. Experience in external warehouse management.

c. Experience in liquid bulk delivery operations

d. Experience in logistics contracts matters

e. Experience in global freight arrangements

**B - Job Summary**:
As part of the management team, lead a loading team (both in-house staff and contractor) to operate and monitor loading activities in the plant and also 3rd party service providers. Ensure that BOTH product and raw material are delivered timely and to the required standards in a cost-effective manner. Able to manage inventory of product and raw material effectively.

**C - Job Description**:
1. Support the GM, Plant Leader in managing day-to-day loading activities.

2. Overall responsible for loading activities such as developing policy and planning, project prioritization and management.

3. Manage the company’s logistics providers to meet business delivery needs.

4. Manage 3rd party logistics providers such as Sankyu, KNS & Vopak etc

5. Plan and Execute annual logistics provider audit & annual stock take for Phenol, Acetone, Cumene, Benzene, BPA, P50 & AMS products. Conduct investigation for any non-conformance and discrepancy of products inventory

6. Coordinate and schedule the receiving of raw materials/intermediates for use in production operations, if required.

7. Compile weekly, monthly logistics report and annual stock take report.

8. Plan and ensure proper and timely receipts of bulk liquid shipments such as Benzene, Phenol, Cumene and Acetone at VOPAK Terminals

9. Handle inventory planning and control for raw material and final products.

10. Ensure packing equipment and weighing scales are calibrated in accordance to the schedule.

11. Ensure packaging materials such as pallets and Flexible container(FB) bags are adequate in accordance to production schedule.

12. Ensure resident contractors comply with loading operating procedures.

13. Overall responsible for waste disposal such as scrap metals, ZK, waste oils, lab waste & etc from site

14. Manage in-house contractor to ensure continuity of 24-hour packing operations and delivery activities.

15. Direct and coordinate all packing and delivery activities to meet delivery schedules of final product within quality and costs.

16. Awareness of international trading issues/imports/legal/packaging and transport regulations.

17. Ensure logistics procedures are in line with Corporate’s guidelines where applicable.

18. Decide, implement, follow-up costs down initiatives and support cross functional programs for operational effectiveness.

19. Lead and motivate logistics members to achieve departmental goals and objectives.

20. Develop talent retention plan for logistics members.

21. Decide appropriate training and development plan for logistics members.

22. Compile and review annual logistics department’s budget on a regular basis.

23. Participate in IMS management review meeting, budget review, pre-review and review meeting.

24. Conduct annual appraisal for logistics members

25. Conduct regular meeting with logistics members.

26. Maintain a good rapport with other departments to develop a team approach to provide the best possible team results.

27. Execute and support the implemented IMS systems and processes according to the standards’ requirements ie: OHSAS 18K, ISO 14K, ISO 9K, ISO 45K, SS651 and Responsible Care.

28. Compile and report purchasing logistics data for IMS management review & budget review meeting.

29. Maintain confidentiality of all correspondence and assignment.

30. Business transactions / communication with external party to be conducted in a professional manner.

31. Undertake any other duties as assigned by superiors from time to time.
