**What the role is**
- The Rehabilitation and Protection Group (RPG) undertakes the statutory functions in the rehabilitation of adult and youth offenders, and the protection of children, families and vulnerable adults (VAs). Our mission is to empower individuals and families to break cycles of abuse, neglect and offending. As part of the RPG family, the Adult Protective Service (APS) is a statutory service that leads in the policies and processes to safeguard the safety and well-being of individuals, families and vulnerable adults experiencing violence, abuse or neglect.

**What you will be working on**
- As a Senior Officer, your role is to support the development and implementation of a Family Violence (FV) database to track and consolidate key data relating to FV that can be used for research and analysis. You will also ensure the maintenance of the FV database and IT system hosting the database. Responsibilities: - Develop and implement procedures for effective data management of the FV database, aligned to the existing Data Governance and Legislative frameworks - Develop workflows and procedures for data sharing - Collaborate closely with partners and stakeholders to on-board them as users of the data systems - Oversee and management of the system users of the data systems - Regularly monitor and evaluate information and data systems that could affect analytical results - Actively track and communicate status, risks and issues of the data systems - Project management such as ensuring that key tasks, schedule and budget are coordinated and well-organised

**What we are looking for**
- Technical/Functional Competencies: - Degree in Economics, Data Analytics, Data Science or Mathematics - At least 2 years of experience in Data and IT system management - Understanding of the government and social service/ health sectors is an advantage Generic Competencies: - Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills - Strong analytical, problem solving and writing skills - Meticulous and able to work under tight deadlines - Enjoy teamwork and able to work in a challenging and fast-paced environment - Driven to achieve results for the team
