Senior Engineer, Bb Process Engineering

**The Job**:
- Engage and represent the company in equipment bench markings to highlight the machine’s overall capability.
- Develop test plans and execute experiments based on statistical principles to characterize or analyze process issues to support sustaining product systems or sub-systems.
- Work closely in cross-functional teams to develop process solutions related to man, materials, machine, method etc.
- Generates tests and procedures from specifications and supporting customers in pre-sales activities and design cycle activities, troubleshoot customer product design or process requirements and providing recommendations based on results from experimentation
- Support customers in technical training during new product or process introductions, equipment process buyoff and post-sales process troubleshooting.
- Prepares and presents technical reports, concepts, data, and recommendations to management and or customers
- Support various development activities to further enhance equipment and process capabilities
**The Person**:
- Bachelor in Materials Science, Electronics, Electrical or mechanical Engineering with at least 4 years process engineering experience in semiconductor equipment industry
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to summarize complex data set for technical and non-technical audiences
- Possess the ability to read mechanical drawings
- Ability to use statistical tools and statistical software (Minitab, JMP, StatGraphics, etc.) and proficient in Design of Experiments techniques
- May be required to travel internationally to provide on-site technical support to customers, typically from 25% TO 40% ANNUALLY
**Applicants are required to possess**:
- Good hands-on knowledge on Ball Bonder and preferably on similar bumping equipment
- Knowledge on capillary design and dimensional fit analysis
- Proficient with the use of qualitative measuring equipment.
- Material knowledge on Gold / Copper wire, substrates and lead frames.
