- Summary:
- Seeking a hands-on individual who is motivated, effective in a fast-paced team-oriented environment, passionate about operations and has an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Your responsibilities will be to the yield engineering team, responsible for receiving new technologies and driving up the yield performance.
- Responsibilities:
- Attending to the day-to-day activities associated with running of high-volume manufacturing line
- Delivering Quality metrics for Skyworks Operations group.
- Assume organization wide ownership for one or more Strategic Objectives.
- Drive operational and engineering excellence and a pro-active Quality culture throughout the organization.
- Partner with internal customers from the Development teams to Fab Operations to Module Build & Test teams to deliver winning filter technologies in support of corporate objectives.
- Participate and lead various cross functional and Lean activity teams.
- Job Requirements- Degree in engineering with a preference for Electrical Engineering or Physics
- Minimal 8 years’ experience in a Yield, Defect Density or Technology Development role in semiconductor wafer processing required. Leading edge technology experience in a high volume fab preferred.
- Previous experience in Lean Manufacturing methods is highly desirable.
- Ability to troubleshoot to an advanced level, often dealing with new complex issues.
- Proficient with data analytical tools such as JMP.
- Ability to deal with multiple issues and shifting priorities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Good foundational problem-solving skills with creative solutions and out of the box thinking.
- Self-motivated; able to take initiative and effectively prioritize work for self.
- A strong desire to help create a positive, winning, world class working environment.
