**Job purpose**:
To be able to provide enjoyable and comprehensive badminton coaching to students across all ages and skill level. This can either be on a private or a group setting.

**Duties and Core responsibilities**
- To lead various school programmes and elite group sessions.
- Responsible for arranging a suitable date and time to conduct lessons for clients looking for private lessons.
- Create lesson plans for both privates and groups
- Conduct lessons in a professional manner at all times.
- Keep an updated online timesheet of lessons and hours worked each month.
- Develop a good rapport with students.
- Make sure the clients are well aware of the lesson policies such as payment and cancellation. - Ensure that all private lessons conducted are up to date with the payment.
- Take care and maintain coaching equipment.
- Keep the courts clean and organised.
- Arrive at the venue at least 20 minutes before the group/private lesson starts.
- Check group lessons attendance accurately and regularly.

**Qualifications**
- GCE “O” level certificate, ITE certificate or equivalent
- At least _3 years _of badminton coaching experience
- Obtained proper Badminton Coaching Certification i.e. BWF Level 1 and etc
- Good interpersonal skills and able to interface with all levels, internally and externally, in a professional and responsive manner.
- Good communication skills. Ability to understand and speak Mandarin is an advantage.
- Medically fit to work and conduct lessons.
- Background check — No Police/Criminality Record. Clean and no derogatory remarks on Social Media
- Able to work independently and as a team.

**Key Deliverables**
- Achieve podium position (semi-finals & above) for the academy's trainees at various badminton tournaments / competitions.
- Effective and professional coaching services are rendered to clients across all ages and levels. - To be able to maintain clients and build up coaching hours over time.
- Timely remittance of lesson fees for private lessons.
