- This role will be responsible for design, plan, perform, interpret, and report scientific experiments to support overall MS&T strategies and objectives.**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead / participate in analytical method transfer, implementation, and testing to support small and pilot scale studies in MS&T laboratory for technical transfer or routine operation.
- Analytical method development and understanding (phys-chem / bioanalytical) including technique selection, screening, development, and qualification in biopharma setting.
- Perform investigative testing to support deviation investigation.
- Lead or coordinate project related scientific / technical activities to ensure compliance and continuous improvement of laboratory.
- Prepare and maintain lab instructions, evaluate new equipment and technologies.
- Support qualification and calibration of lab equipment with accompanying change control, documentation, schedule, and maintenance.
- Comply with applicable GxP regulations, SOPs, HSE & other Novartis Guidelines in the laboratory. Maintaining up-to-date documentation of laboratory work carried out including documentation storage and archiving.
- Owns and represents his/her area of responsibility during inspections.

**Minimum requirements**
- University degree (BSc, MSc or PhD) in Chemistry, Biologics, Pharma / Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
- 8 years of analytical laboratory experience in biopharmaceutical environment.
- Analytical method development, DoE experience will be an added advantage.
- Competent in technical writing, experimental design, planning and execution
- Good communication and presentation skills
