**About the Role**:
We are currently seeking a **Director of Supply Chain**, to join our team in Singapore. In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the organization by orchestrating and optimizing our global supply chain operations. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure seamless coordination of supply chain activities across various global regions. Your exceptional leadership and strong understanding of supply chain dynamics in the semiconductor industry will be instrumental in driving our continued success and maintaining Sourceability's position as a preferred global distributor.

**Essential functions, responsibilities, and duties**:

- Develop and execute comprehensive supply chain strategies, encompassing procurement, logistics, inventory management, and distribution, to support global operations and business growth.
- Collaborate closely with global supply chain teams to standardize processes, streamline operations, and foster a cohesive approach to supply chain management across all locations.
- Optimize inventory levels, ensuring adequate stock availability while minimizing excess inventory and carrying costs.
- Identify, qualify, and negotiate with suppliers to establish strong partnerships and secure cost-effective sourcing of semiconductor parts and electronic components.
- Monitor industry trends, global market conditions, and regulatory changes to anticipate potential supply chain challenges and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Implement robust supply chain performance metrics and analytics to measure performance, identify areas for improvement, and drive continuous enhancement.
- Lead and mentor a diverse team of supply chain professionals, fostering their development and promoting a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Operations, and Finance, to align supply chain strategies with broader business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards, mitigating supply chain risks and maintaining ethical business practices.

**Skills and requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven track record of at least 6 years in supply chain management, with a substantial portion of experience in the semiconductor or electronics industry.
- Demonstrated success in leading and managing global supply chain operations, including procurement, logistics, and inventory management.
- Strong understanding of supply chain technologies, tools, and best practices, with the ability to implement digital solutions for process improvement.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with a talent for building and motivating high-performing teams.
- Strategic thinker with a keen eye for innovation and the ability to drive change within the supply chain function.
- Experience in managing complex supplier relationships and negotiating agreements that deliver favorable terms and cost efficiencies.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities.
