**Senior Product Specialist - JOINTS**
This role is responsible to support the Sales Manager by aligning to the leadership and direction for the Joint Replacement portfolio in Singapore with DePuy Synthes Franchise strategy, to support the growth objectives and provide levels of service and professionalism consistent with the company’s global standards.
The Senior Product Specialist is responsible for building and managing relationships with key accounts in their specific territories. He/she is also responsible for developing long-term positive customer relationships to build customer loyalty and confidence in DePuy Synthes as a preferred supplier. Their role is also to execute sales strategies/plans and assisting business partners in sales of Joint Replacement business in assigned product line and to achieve both long
- and
- short term objectives. He/she should also develop business opportunities in the Joints portfolio, with the objective of achieving and exceeding the sales targets set.
As part of the Joints team, this role is required to support cases in the operating theatre setting. This job is eligible for sales incentives/commission.
**Job responsibilities**
Sales:
- Manage & implement local sales tactics & execution per year in line with country objectives.
- Responsible to provide monthly sales forecast, meeting sales budget and case attendance for the assigned product portfolio and sales territory
- Identify business opportunities, formulates account strategies & ensure effective implementation of territory action plans
- Build trust and credibility with customers
- Conduct regular consignment count
- Provide regular market/competitor updates
- Prompt complaints handling adhering to company SOP
- Assisting customers enquiries and provide quotation as needed.
- Forecast stock requirement based on the market feedback and quotation participated.
- Assist in overseeing uncovered sales territory.
- Cover surgical cases.
- Share findings on market trends (customer profile, credibility, competition and reputation in market), and identify market-specific needs, trends and opportunities for business growth
- Periodically prepare sales performance analyses in sales results, forecast, critical issues as needed
- Work closely with Product/Business Development Manager to ensure launch readiness and use post-launch measurements to effectively deliver launch plans within an allocated territory.
- Collaborate with colleagues across Medical Devices and Hospital Group to ensure the full extent of company resources is harnessed and delivers more than competitors in the marketplace.
- Consistently promote and cultivate the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and compliance at all times, including our Global Code of Business Conduct and Ethics and related policies and procedures.
Marketing
- Support Sales Manager in:
- Implementing local marketing tactics & execution per year in line with county objectives.
- Professionally execute product launches, obsolescence and recalls partnering with RAQA.
- Carry out sales & marketing activities, responsible to support marketing initiatives including trade show (exhibition) and other key events and promotions such as workshops, company receptions etc.
- Conduct regular product in-service and product presentation to the customers
- Management of HCP interactions ensuring compliance is adhered.
- Provide feedback on local training opportunities for junior surgeons
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's Degree in Business/Science/Engineering
- 3-5 years of selling experience with strong sales record
- Demonstrates resilience, willingness to learn, openness and adaptability, attention to details and possess the desire to excel and grow
- A strong team player with excellent interpersonal, communication & presentation skills
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment and develop strong relationship with stakeholder
- Strong, demonstrated leadership qualities, driven by a passion to excel in a customer-centric and innovative organization
- Prior experience in managing hospital accounts
- Ability to handle complexities of account from different stakeholders involved in the decision-making process
