Introduction
As a Design Enablement IP Design Kit Engineer, you will be part of a team of engineers that supports IP Design Kit assembly, validation and release for internally developed GF IPs. You will be responsible to ensure that the IP design kits meet our customers’ specifications and our internal quality standards. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on the latest technology and product enablement, working with multi-site functional teams to deliver best-in-class IP solutions for our customers.
Your Job
- Collaborate with Design and Layout teams on design view generation and validation
- Work with Quality team to release design kits and ensure quality criteria are met
- Support generation for design kit front end views like verilog, liberty and LEF and back end views generation like layout and netlist etc
- Support validation and release of final design kits
- Ensure final design kits meet specifications and project schedule
Other Responsibilities:
- Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor / Master Degree in Electrical, Electronics Engineering or equivalent
- Semiconductor Physics, CMOS Device knowledge, or related
- Fluency in English Language - written & verbal
Preferred Qualifications:
- Programming skills and circuit Design background is a plus
- Prior experience in wafer fabrication or IC Mask design environment is a plus
- Good interpersonal skill, well organized and work well within a team environment
- Motivated and independent
