- Do you have experience leveraging and creating data-driven analysis for investment research? We’re looking for someone like that who can:
- Join the UBS Evidence Lab Alternative Data Strategy team, which helps clients understand and use alternative data in their decisions.
- Collaborate with UBS Research analysts to design, execute, and deliver novel solutions to answer investor questions
- Lead brainstorming meetings with UBS Research analysts to understand investment debates and offer relevant solutions
- Provide support interpreting alternative data analytics
- Champion our product and educate stakeholders on Evidence Lab capabilities
- Create written content highlighting how alternative data applies to relevant investment debates
- Clearly communicate to solve challenges, while moving toward consensus solutions

- You’ll be working in UBS Evidence Lab based in Singapore with global client coverage as a member of the UBS Evidence Lab Alternative Data Strategy team. The team is organized by sectors, such as Consumer, Industrials, Healthcare, Financials, Tech-Media-Telco, Environment-Social-Governance (ESG) or Macro. The team acts as a nexus between clients, data, and technology, which leads a diverse range of opportunities to drive positive impact across the firm and for our clients. Data Strategists design projects leveraging and creating alternative data sets across existing Evidence Lab frameworks and new solutions. We work closely with our stakeholders to create commercially valuable insights for investment decision makers. In addition to designing alternative data assets, which feature in thousands of UBS research reports each year, the team works with institutional investors to help them use and incorporate Evidence Lab data in their investment decisions. To support your work in the team, we provide ongoing training on Evidence Lab’s industry leading portfolio of alternative data techniques and capabilities.**Your expertise**
- You have:
- ideally 2-5 years of experience within sell-side, buy-side, investment banking, private equity, or consulting firms
- ability to convert large datasets into easy-to-understand insights
- direct experience creating written content and visuals that connect fundamental data to investment debates
- advanced excel skills
- pluses include:

- experience analyzing a specific sector (such as Industrials, Financials, Healthcare, Consumer, Technology, Media, or Energy)
- experience analyzing macroeconomics, investment strategy or Environment-Social-Governance (ESG)
- experience working with VBA, SQL, or in programming languages such as Python and R
- You are:
