**_Job Description Summary_**

The incumbent will be responsible for software development in both desktop and real-time embedded environment which is a crucial role within the organization.

**_Key Job Accountabilities_**
- Performs software development and verification and ensure the implementation and completion of the system requirements, aligned with the given timelines. Work with interdisciplinary teams to achieve project goals.
- Ensures that the requirements are implemented accurately, following given coding rules and guidelines. Ensure product quality with accurate unit-tests and realization within the given product architecture and coding standard.
- Builds and maintains appropriate user documentation for the implementation. Comply and enforce company software Quality Management System and Safety requirements.

**_Required Experience and Qualifications:_**
- A bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science/engineering, engineering, physics, mathematics, or equivalent.
- Programming skills in C, C++, C# and/or Python
- Familiarity with.NET, WPF (Windows Presentation Framework), MS Visual Studio, GitLab and\or similar tools.
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant software development experience is required.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle processes and methodologies (Waterfall, Agile) and software test methodologies.
- Good communication and analytical skills
- A team player with a proactive attitude and a sense of responsibility.
- Open to Singaporeans only

The following skills are optional and would be an added advantage:

- Software development experience in RTOS (Real Time Operating System) and embedded environment
- Working experience in Avionics, Aviation and UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) domains
- Computer networking knowledge
- SQL and Database knowledge
- Cybersecurity knowledge
- Familiarity with Linux OS
- Familiarity with Unity game development engine
- Familiarity with VMware Virtualization

- The incumbent reports to Director, Engineering
