Our Early Intervention Centre is looking for an energetic, responsible, and dedicated Cleaner to keep our facility clean and welcoming. This position is pivotal to our mission of providing a safe, clean, and friendly environment for our children and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

- Adhere to and perform cleaning tasks according to the Centre's defined cleaning protocols
- Thoroughly and regularly clean classrooms, toilets, communal areas, and external spaces
- Empty and remove trash regularly, recycling materials where appropriate
- Complete the occasional deep-cleaning task, such as floor waxing
- Notify the management of any necessary repairs or maintenance
- Maintain a well-stocked cleaning cart with necessary supplies
- Ensure children's safety during cleaning procedures
- Display patience, understanding, and love for children
- Practice cleanliness, organization, and creating a healthy environment for children
- Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team
- Highly responsible and dependable in fulfilling the duty hours: 5-day work week (8am - 6pm), with a 2-hour break during the workday
- Physically fit and able to stand, walk, and bend for the duration of the shift
- Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull equipment, and move light furniture
- Proven experience as a cleaner or in a similar role is a plus
