**Purpose of the Position**

The Regional HR Director will lead HR strategies, practices and objectives to enhance a high-performance culture, with emphasis on Mowi’s Leadership Principles and Values

**Responsibilities & Duties**

The Regional HR Director will oversee the HR operations in Asia Pacific. This comprises China, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Taiwan and Vietnam. In addition, the Regional HR Director will oversee the full HR spectrum of Mowi Taiwan organization.

To be the HR business partner and coach to the Asia Regional and Country leadership team

To ensure Mowi’s leadership principles and values are reflected across Asia by effective coordination with all country and HR leaders

To lead, manage and implement HR initiatives pertaining to recruitment, compensation and benefits, performance management, industrial relations, training and people development

To drive Talent Management and identify hi-potentials to build internal talent; to ensure the talent pipeline remains robust to support organizational growth.

To increase and improve employee engagement

Design, develop and deliver strategic and operational HR services to the business

Roll out Global initiatives at Regional level, ensuring effective implementation at country level: Infor HCM, Code of Conduct, GDPR, Diversity and Inclusion, Employee Engagement, Talent Management and Succession Plan, Learning, Operations Excellence

**Academic & Trades Qualification**
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resource or related field
- Member of HR Association or Institution
- Sound MS Office skills - Word, Excel, Powerpoint

**Work Experience & Skills**
- At least 10 years’ experience in HR business partnering; and 5 years’ experience in Asia Pacific Regional HR Leadership role in manufacturing MNC organization
- Strong knowledge and experience operating the full HR spectrum
- Familiar with HR legislations and policies across Asia
- Must have a track record in formulating and implementing strategy, policies and procedures in a regional MNC
- Good knowledge of the development of human resources practices with regard to People Development and Workforce Planning
- Strong leadership, coaching, influencing, negotiation, analytical, problem solving and decision making skills

**Personal Qualities & Behavioural Traits**
- Business acumen operationally and strategically
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Positive, hands-on and able to work independently as well as with teams
- A self-starter who is result oriented

**Language capabilities**

Bi-lingual in English and Asian language (Mandarin will be preferred, both oral and written)

**Relationship/Reporting lines**

Regional Role:
Reporting directly to the MD of Asia Pacific, based in Singapore

Functionally reporting to: Chief HR Officer, based in Bergen, Norway

Peers: Finance, IT, Sales, Operations

China: 1 HR Manager

Japan: 1 HR Manager and 4 indirect reports

Korea: 1 HR Manager

Singapore: Administrative support from MD’s PA

Taiwan: 2 HR Executives

Vietnam: 1 HR Manager and 3 indirect reports

**Taiwan HR Role**:
Report directly to the Country Manager, Taiwan (who is also the current MD of Asia Pacific)

Peers: Finance, IT, B2B, B2C, Operations, Street Stores

Two direct reports in Taiwan

**Percentage of time traveling**
- 25% traveling within Asia Pacific
- Annual Global HR meeting
- Annual / Biennial Regional HR meeting

**Target Search**
- Food or seafood processing industries is preferred
- Must have HR experience in manufacturing setups
