Topside Engineering Manager

Job Details:

- Act as the engineering leader for the Topsides engineering team of FPSO EPCI project based in client project office or at fabrication yard working within the contractual requirements of the project and to deliver engineering for Topside modules within schedule, budget and to the right quality.
- To independently manage the multi-disciplinary engineering and design team of Topsides facilities of FPSO project
- To deliver FPSO Topsides engineering within budget, schedule and quality
- Provide leadership to the Topsides engineering team and be the single focal point in the Project organization all issues related to Topsides engineering
- A high performing Topsides Engineering team to deliver consistent engineering design across all Topside Modules and different Detailed Engineering Sub-Contractors
- Lead the setting up of all Engineering and Design systems, Engineering Execution Plan, Engineering Schedule, Master document Register (MDR), FEED Verification, Procurement Schedule, Engineering stages and gates, schedule of engineering reviews and Audits.
- A robust engineering execution platform for delivery of Detailed Engineering meeting all contractual requirements.
- Implement engineering change management for the Topsides engineering post design freeze in all disciplines including communication, tracking and approval by the relevant stakeholders.
- Effective change Management
- Superviseall Topsides discipline leadsto ensuredelivery of engineering design that complies with Company standards, Client standards, Class Society rules, applicable codes and standards, Regulatory requirements, and the team works in accordance with the Company code of conduct..
- Compliance with Company standards, Client Standards, Class Society rules, regulatory requirements, Codes and Standards and Company code of conduct
- Conduct internal Topsides engineering team meetings, meetings with engineering sub-contractors, participate in engineering meetings with Client and other external agencies, prepare minutes of meetings, Topsides engineering progress report and effectively communicate both internally and externally.
- Clear and unambiguous communication both internally and externally on engineering issues
- Motivate the Topsides Engineering team and Sub-contractor team to perform, provide performance feedback, forecast and mange engineering resources on the project
- A high performing and motivated topsides engineering team and Sub-contractor Engineering Team
- Develop Topsides Engineering manning plan, engineering software budget, Third party study budget, approve topsides engineering related variation orders from subcontractors and suppliers.
- Effective cost control of Topsides engineering

Job Requirements:

- Bachelor’s in engineering or Master of Engineering. Alternatively, Diploma holders with strong engineering experience may also be considered.
- With minimum 20 years’ experience in onshore/offshore Oil & Gas area or FPSO line(s) or MS degree plus minimum 15 years relevant experience. Minimum 1 FPSO experience is necessary
