Roles & Responsibilities
- Review, evaluate and assess the main contractors’ method statements, risks assessment and construction proposals, to ensure that the works are carried out in accordance with the provisions of the specifications and requirements of the Works and/or Authorities’ requirements.
- Proactive role and participate actively in safety and operational risk assessments and management processes and propose recommendations to ensure that adequate contingency and/or mitigation measures are in place before construction activities are carried out
- Participate in any risk training, risk workshops or meetings (such as Design for Safety review meetings) if required
- Plan and carry out safety inspections including taking photos of unsafe acts and conditions and bringing to the main contractor's attention
- Participate actively in site safety management including attendance at any safety and environmental meetings, promotions, risk assessments and campaigns.
- Provide safety oversight and documentary support (including but not limited to photographs, records and reports) required by the Officer-incharge.
- Keep track and enforce main contractor's compliance with safety requirements including attending all safety related meetings and DfS discussion.
- Plan and organize regular joint safety site walks, conduct monthly safety audits and follow up on the main contractor's closure of safety observationsSubmit a PSM monthly report with analysis and assessment conducted on the safety performance of the site.

Job Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering, Workplace Safety & Health Discipline or related qualifications.
- Registered with MOM as a Workplace Safety and Health Officer and have been practicing as WSHO for at least 5 years
- At least 10 years of WSH experience in construction industry preferably 5 years with developer/main contractor.
- At least 1 years of WSH experience in tunneling and/or deep excavation works.
- obtained certificate in development of a Risk Management Implementation Plan (bizSAFE Level 2) or equivalent.
- Obtained certificate in DfS appreciation course

**Salary**: $6,000.00 - $7,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

**Education**:

- Bachelor's or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Project Safety Manager: 5 years (preferred)
