- Start and monitor wash cycles, ensuring proper functioning.

3. Unloading Dishes:

- Carefully unload clean dishes and utensils, checking for cleanliness and dryness.
- Store clean items in designated locations.

4. Manual Washing:

- Wash large pots, pans, and other items by hand when necessary.
- Rinse and sanitize all items before storing.

5. Clean Work Areas:

- Wipe down surfaces and counters used during dishwashing.
- Clean and sanitize sinks and dish areas.

6. Trash Management:

- Empty trash bins regularly and replace liners as needed.

End-of-Shift Tasks

1. Final Clean-Up:

- Ensure all dishes and utensils are cleaned, dried, and stored.
- Clean the dishwasher’s exterior and surrounding areas.

2. Check Supplies:

- Verify inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages.
- Refill detergent and rinse aid if necessary.

3. Report Issues:

- Inform the supervisor of any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs.

4. Secure Work Area:

- Turn off equipment as required and ensure the work area is tidy before leaving.
