**Responsibilities**

Your core responsibility will be at the heart of the business, processing new merchandise as part of the curation team. This includes:

- ensuring that items meet our stringent quality conditions and authentication criteria
- collecting detailed product attributes and writing short product descriptions
- researching the history of items, their construction and comparable pricing
- managing enquiries from sellers and organizing collection of merchandise
- answering customer queries via mobile chat as part of a team effort, including after hours when necessary
- assisting in other areas of the business as needed (warehouse, fulfilment etc) when necessary

**Requirements**:

- Professional or academic background or proven interest in fashion and/or luxury goods (eg, retail, marketing, merchandising, fashion history, brand history, fashion journalism)
- Positive attitude, a learning mindset and strong work ethic - we are looking for reliable, resourceful, organised people that are willing to learn
- Must be obsessive about organization and be highly detail oriented
- Good written communication skills in English are important to handle customer enquiries independently
- Basic computer literacy (eg Word, Excel) and smart phone literacy
- Bonus but not required: skilled craft such as design or tailoring, advanced writing skills, multiple languages, digital marketing experience
