**Victoria World Academy **is a forward-thinking educational institution dedicated to providing holistic support to our students. We are seeking enthusiastic and compassionate individuals to join our team as Student Mentors. No prior experience is necessary, as comprehensive training will be provided. **Responsibilities**:
As a Student Mentor at Victoria World Academy, you will play a pivotal role in nurturing the well-being and academic success of our students. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- **Student Support**:Assist students with course transfers, grievances, and complaints. Refer students to the school counselor when necessary.
- **Disciplinary Matters**:Handle disciplinary issues in a fair and constructive manner, working with school policies and procedures.
- **Routine Spot Checks**:Conduct routine spot checks to ensure students are not loitering when they should be in class, maintaining a secure and studious environment.
- **Reporting and Evaluation**:Prepare monthly reports, documenting positive and negative feedback, student and parent complaints, actions taken, and follow-up. Monitor and report on student academic performance.
- **Availability for Emergency Situations**:Be prepared to respond to urgent feedback from parents and students outside office hours, including weekends.
- **Hostel Management Assistance**:Collaborate with hostel staff to support students' residential needs and concerns.

**Qualifications**:

- A genuine passion for helping students succeed and a commitment to their well-being.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Empathy and active listening skills.
- Excellent organizational and administrative abilities.
- A strong sense of responsibility and a proactive attitude.
- Willingness to work outside regular office hours when needed.
- Ability to converse confidently with parents from China.
- Prior experience in academic and pastoral counseling is preferred but not mandatory.
- Work visa can be provided.
