**Role: Group Head of Internal Audit**

**About the Role**
Our client is listed on SGX and a market leader in their industry. They are currently looking to hire a Group Head of Internal Audit to lead the Internal Audit function.
Reporting to the Head of Audit Committee, you will play a pivotal role in strengthening the governance, risk management, and internal control framework across the Group.

**Responsibilities**

- Leading and executing financial, operational, compliance, and IT audits across all business units and subsidiaries to evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of controls.
- Assessing compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, corporate policies, and industry best practices.
- Identifying process inefficiencies, control gaps, and operational risks, and providing actionable recommendations to senior management.
- Partnering with business leaders to drive improvements in operational efficiency, risk mitigation, and financial reporting accuracy.
- Monitoring and reporting on enterprise-wide risk exposures, including strategic, operational, and technology risks, and evaluating the effectiveness of risk management programs.
- Providing thought leadership and guidance on emerging risks, corporate governance developments, and regulatory changes, ensuring the Group maintains a proactive risk and control posture.

**Requirements**:

- Degree-qualified, preferably CPA, with a minimum of 15 years post-graduate experience.
- Demonstrated expertise in internal audit within complex, multi-national organizations.
- Strong leadership experience with a proven ability to manage and develop high-performing teams.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.
- Highly motivated, proactive, and able to perform effectively under pressure.
