**What the role is**
- You will leverage online open source platforms to collate and analyse relevant information on geopolitical developments globally to produce relevant analytical reports that will support SID's missions.
**What you will be working on**
- Monitor and analyse relevant geopolitical information that can be found in online open source platforms, such as social media and the internet - Explore the use of a variety of software tools to aid the comprehensive gathering of relevant information. - Produce timely and accurate insight reports that support SID's missions If you are in a senior role, in addition to the above, you will need to: - Provide operational leadership for the team - Design and implement workplace processes, with future trends and needs in mind - Contribute to the planning and guidance for the Section's professional growth, in both general and technical areas - Build good relations and workflows with internal and external stakeholders - Mentor and develop junior team members to maximise their potential What you will gain: - Enhanced analytical skills in an intelligence context, covering a wide range of geopolitical topics - Experience working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment - A deeper understanding of global current affairs and their impact on SID's missions
